Job Description

Join The Little Clinic as a Float Nurse Practitioner, where you'll deliver high-quality healthcare in retail settings and support community health initiatives. This role requires collaboration with patients and healthcare teams to ensure operational efficiency and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality medical care to patients while maintaining company metrics for productivity
  • Participate in peer review, quality assurance, and staff meetings
  • Ensure a safety and quality-based healthcare environment
  • Maintain clinic operations during scheduled hours
  • Collaborate with regional management for community events
  • Respond to customer experience survey feedback
  • Manage clinic inventory and order supplies
  • Perform quality control on instrumentation and testing
  • Utilize company information systems in compliance with HIPAA
  • Support mentor program and ongoing education
  • Travel to designated clinics as needed
  • Control costs to meet budgeted profitability goals
  • Maintain a presence in the community through local nursing organizations

Required Qualifications

  • Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner or Bachelor’s Degree as a Physician Assistant
  • 1 year of experience in healthcare
  • Active license, AANP or ANCC certification and all necessary state credentials
  • Board certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) or physician assistant (PA-C)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and responsibilities
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
  • Excellent telephone, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with applicable clinical procedures
  • Experience with electronic health record charting systems
  • Previous experience in retail health, emergency health, critical care
  • Demonstrated leadership, coaching and influencing skills
