Job Description
Join Christus Health as a Certified Surgical Technologist, where you'll play a vital role in supporting surgical teams and ensuring patient safety in the Operating Room. Your expertise will help maintain aseptic conditions and provide comfort to pre-operative patients.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and caring for pre-operative patients
Maintain aseptic techniques and monitor for breaches
Transport patients to and from the Operating Room suite
Position patients according to the type of surgery
Identify and care for biological specimens
Prepare the Operating Room by setting up tables, instruments, and supplies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of the Surgical Technology program or an accredited LVN/LPN program
BLS certification
Certification of Surgical Technologist within 180 days of graduation or LVN/LPN License
