Key Responsibilities
Initiates, monitors and maintains life support systems
Monitors outcomes of various respiratory care procedures
Establishes and maintains respiratory equipment par-level and required maintenance records
Troubleshoots equipment malfunction
Conducts quality assurance audits
Conducts quality control monitoring
Provides routine clinical care, including ventilator checks, tracheostomy care, suctioning, resident evaluations, care plan development, respiratory medication delivery, supply changes, and equipment management
Required Qualifications
Certified Respiratory Therapist
Licensed in the state
Completion of a two-year accredited Respiratory Program
Current CPR certification
