Key Responsibilities
Evaluates patients and establishes individualized treatment goals.
Provides appropriate treatments to improve or restore patient function.
Educates patients and families on home exercise programs.
Documents treatment according to insurance guidelines.
Participates in interdisciplinary approaches for community education.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel.
