Job Description
Join Gulfstream Aerospace as an Avionics/Electrical Technician IV, where you'll lead technical efforts in repairing and testing cutting-edge aircraft systems. Utilize your expertise to ensure quality installations and compliance with safety standards while mentoring a skilled workforce.
Key Responsibilities
Perform operational tests and repairs of avionics/electronic systems
Provide training to personnel and ensure a skilled workforce
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning systems
Oversee compliance with engineering changes
Conduct functional and operational tests
Maintain daily logs and documentation
Coordinate with other disciplines on projects
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Six years experience in an avionics/electrical career field
Two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four years related experience
Preferred Qualifications
A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license
Other FCC License
Other NCATT certification
Proficiency in other aircraft systems (hydraulics, landing gear, etc.)
APU run qualification
Engine run qualification
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams
