Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room (OR)

Location: Norwood, MA
Contract Type: 13 Weeks
Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift | Monday–Friday | No Call or Float
Hours: 40 Hours/Week

Weekly Pay : $2,690

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe, effective, and compassionate perioperative nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Function as both a circulating and scrub nurse as needed to support surgical teams.
• Ensure sterile technique and infection control protocols are maintained at all times.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient responses, document care accurately, and communicate changes promptly.
• Prepare operating rooms and ensure proper equipment setup prior to procedures.
• Maintain compliance with facility standards, safety policies, and ethical nursing practices.

Requirements:

• Active Massachusetts RN License (Compact state licenses accepted once active).
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room nursing experience required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association required).
• Ability to scrub cases confidently.
• Familiarity with paper charting systems .
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills.

Additional Details:

• Shift: 8-hour day shift
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• No call or float requirements
• Environment: Fast-paced surgical center
