As Clinical Education Coordinator, you will:
Direct and provide orientation for new employees Work with the clinical staff during orientation to ensure effective onboarding for Nurses and CNAs Coordinate, conduct and validate completion of competency checklist for all nursing staff upon hire, annually, and as needed Conduct patient care rounds daily to assess educational and clinical needs of the nursing staff Assist in the development of the non-eLearning annual education plan for the center
Qualifications for Education Coordinator:
Current RN license in good standing with the Virginia Department of Health Professions Three years' experience in long-term care with experience as a Nursing Leader Exceptional clinical skills including IV Therapy Solid understanding of federal and state regulations for long-term care
