Key Responsibilities

  • Operate MRI equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians
  • Prepare patients and adjust equipment for performing MRI
  • Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently
  • Assist with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation
  • Maintain records required for the MRI area
  • Consult with radiologist, physicians, and other patient-care personnel regarding exams

Required Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program
  • Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire
  • Less than 1 year of experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire
  • 1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
