Key Responsibilities
Operate MRI equipment to make clinical diagnostic images as directed by physicians
Prepare patients and adjust equipment for performing MRI
Perform MRI procedures accurately and efficiently
Assist with staff/student on-the-job training and orientation
Maintain records required for the MRI area
Consult with radiologist, physicians, and other patient-care personnel regarding exams
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or equivalent from a 2-year college or technical school, or hospital-based Radiologic Technology Program
Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire
Less than 1 year of experience
Preferred Qualifications
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Upon Hire
1-3 years of training/experience in MRI
