Registered Nurse (RN) – Labor & Delivery / OB / Postpartum

Location: Greenfield, MA
Schedule: 12-hour Night Shifts | 36 hours per week
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Pay: $2,710

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care in antepartum, labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum settings.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, interpret fetal monitoring data, and intervene as appropriate.
  • Administer medications and assist with anesthesia, induction, and delivery procedures.
  • Support and educate patients and families throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Perform newborn assessments and initial care, supporting successful breastfeeding and bonding.
  • Accurately document all patient interactions, interventions, and outcomes in the Cerner EMR system .
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and Postpartum experience
  • Licensure: Active MA RN License (or ability to obtain prior to start)
  • Certifications:
    • BLS – Basic Life Support (AHA)
    • ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA)
    • NRP – Neonatal Resuscitation Program
    • Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (AWHONN)

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency with Cerner EMR
  • Strong communication and patient education abilities
  • Experience managing high-acuity obstetric cases
