Key Responsibilities
Responsible for control systems including hardware and software design, documentation, networking, and data acquisition
Collaborate with Plant Engineering, MES, IT, Maintenance, and Production teams on projects
Estimate time and cost for new projects
Review capital equipment proposals and ensure compliance with specifications
Troubleshoot and remediate hardware, software, and network issues
Reduce production downtime
Support network backup and device patching management
Manage and inventory control system assets
Improve system performance
Review security vulnerabilities and request remediation
Compile data from connected devices for organizational use
Develop and apply standards for control systems
Solve complex problems and provide guidance to colleagues
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
5 years professional experience
Experience with automation hardware and software platforms, including PLC and HMI
Experience with AutoCAD
Knowledge of NEC, NFPA, 70E, NFPA 79, and other technical codes
Ability to support and troubleshoot industrial equipment
Critical thinking with exceptional problem-solving skills
Ability to handle a variety of assignments and changing priorities
Work effectively with employees at all levels
Excellent written and oral communication skills
