Key Responsibilities

Learn to perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles
Assist in performing FAI/CVI inspections on fleet vehicles
Learn to perform maintenance repairs under guidance
Address driver vehicle inspection report write-ups
Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs
Document work performed on work orders
Develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Current and valid driver's license (CDL Preferred)

Preferred Qualifications

Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school
Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
ASE certifications – Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
609 HVAC Certification
Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software for OEM’s
