Job Description
Join the ASPCA as a Lead Veterinarian and lead a dedicated team in providing high-quality veterinary care to underserved communities. You will support the professional growth of fellow veterinarians while ensuring that pets receive the compassionate care they deserve. Key Responsibilities
Oversee and monitor medicine and surgery at the ASPCA’s CVC
Train veterinarians in high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter techniques
Support a positive work culture and provide regular feedback
Provide compassionate preventive and basic care to patients
Schedule staff veterinarians for optimal coverage
Participate in veterinary medicine rounds and meetings
Required Qualifications
Current California State Veterinary License
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited veterinary college
Minimum one year of experience in high quality, high volume spay/neuter
Minimum three years veterinary experience in small animal medicine and surgery
Excellent work attendance record
Fear Free® Shelter certification within 60 days of hire
