Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate care for patients during labor, delivery, and recovery.
- Collaborate with OB/GYN physicians, anesthesiologists, and neonatal teams.
- Monitor fetal heart tracings and respond appropriately to changes.
- Administer medications, including IV therapy, oxytocin, and emergency interventions.
- Assist with deliveries (vaginal, C-section) and immediate newborn care.
- Float as needed to Mother-Baby unit.
- Precept and support new staff when assigned.
Requirements - Experience: 3+ years recent L&D experience.
- First-Time Travelers: Accepted.
- Certifications (Required):
- ACLS
- BCLS
- NRP
- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
- AWHONN Advanced ( preferred )
- Charting: Epic experience required.
- License: Active California RN license (no pending licenses).
