Job Description
Join Kaiser Permanente as a Radiologic Technologist V in Interventional Radiology, where you'll play a crucial role in diagnostic imaging, assisting physicians in identifying diseases and injuries. Utilize your expertise in radiographic procedures to ensure optimal patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Perform specialized and routine diagnostic radiology procedures
Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
Adjust immobilization devices for optimum views
Determine exposure factors based on patient specifics
Operate mobile radiologic equipment in various settings
Assist radiologists in fluoroscopic and special x-ray examinations
Process and review images for quality control
Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
Train new hires and students
Required Qualifications
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in IR and CT OR one year of experience in each Specialty with ARRT Certification in each Specialty
