Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join our imaging team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be confident in operating Siemens MRI equipment and comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital setting. This role offers flexible assignment lengths (8, 13, or 20 weeks) and the opportunity to collaborate with another MRI technologist during shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans using Siemens equipment, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explain processes, and provide compassionate care throughout.
- Follow physician instructions and protocols to capture accurate and complete images.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to radiation safety and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and fellow technologists to support patient care.
- Participate in call and rotation duties, including weekends, as scheduled.
Requirements:
- Current certification as an MRI Technologist (ARRT or equivalent).
- Proficiency with Siemens MRI machines .
- Previous MRI experience in a hospital or clinical setting required.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
