Job Description
Join Judson Park as a part-time Infection Preventionist RN, where you will lead the infection prevention program to ensure a safe environment for residents. Collaborate with medical professionals to implement effective practices and maintain high standards of care. This role is pivotal in safeguarding the health of our community.
Key Responsibilities
Oversight of the infection prevention and control program (IPCP)
Developing and implementing a system for preventing, identifying, and reporting infections
Maintaining a system of recording incidents and corrective actions
Assisting in developing guidelines for decontamination and sterilization activities
Annual review and update of the IPCP
Required Qualifications
Completion of Accredited Licensed Nursing Program for an RN
Current LPN/LVN or RN license in Applicable State
Current CPR certification
Minimum of two years of nursing experience or one year as a nursing supervisor
Clinical observation and assessment skills
Proficient computer skills necessary to complete documentation and communicate with team members
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing, epidemiology, microbiology, medical technology, public health, or other healthcare science
Specialty training in Infection Prevention and Control through accredited continuing education
Skilled Nursing or Senior Care experience
