Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Assist in the review of medical records to highlight Star opportunities
Data collection, entry, quality monitoring, and chart collection
Locate medical screening results to ensure quality measures are followed
Track appointments and document information accurately in systems
Optimize customer satisfaction and productivity
Partner with leadership and staff to support health screenings and close care gaps
Interact with UHC members via telephone to assist with care
Document scheduling challenges and customer needs
Provide ongoing support and education to team members
Manage time effectively to meet productivity goals
Identify opportunities to improve call efficiency
Adhere to corporate compliance and confidentiality requirements
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
18 years or older
1+ years of healthcare background with medical terminology familiarity
1+ years of experience with ICD-9/10 and CPT Codes
1+ years of experience with HIPAA compliance requirements
1+ years of experience with Microsoft Tools (Word and Outlook)
Experience with navigating and analyzing reports in Excel
Ability to work any 8-hour shift during normal business hours
Preferred Qualifications
1+ year experience as a pharmacy tech
2+ years of telephonic customer service experience
Experience working in a physician, provider, and/or medical office
Medical Assistant certification
LPN certification
EMR and HEDIS knowledge
Pharmacy tech license
