Raytheon is seeking a Principal RF Antenna and Sensor Range Engineer to lead the design and implementation of antenna and sensor systems in Tucson, AZ. Develop antenna, radome, advanced sensor systems, and/or RCS ranges/chambers Work with interdisciplinary engineering teams to define, analyze, simulate, implement, and evaluate requirements Work with chamber/range equipment and service suppliers Oversee implementation of new ranges/chambers Bachelor of Science degree in Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Minimum 8 years of relevant experience or an Advanced Degree with minimum 6 years of experience Testing of antennas or radomes in a chamber or test range Operation of an antenna, radome, and/or RCS chamber/range Demonstrated knowledge of antenna and/or sensor measurement theory and range operation Ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance Master of Science (MS) or PhD in electrical engineering Significant experience simulating/estimating propagation effects on antennas Measurement of hardware for RCS Experience specifying, building, and validating antenna, radome, and/or RCS ranges/chambers Proficiency with Python, MATLAB and/or other high-level scientific programming languages Proficiency with high performance computing environments (e.g., SLURM) Proficiency with modeling & simulation tools (e.g., HFSS, CST, FEKO) Experience designing and testing conformal antennas Excellent verbal and written communication skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities Strong interpersonal skills Ability to drive technical execution plans Knowledgeable of management processes, such as Earned Value Experience presenting in technical reviews Understanding of near-field-to-far-field processing algorithms Experience designing datalink, flight termination, telemetry, and/or GPS antenna systems Experience as a Cost Account Manager or Integrated Product Team Lead Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance Short-term and long-term disability 401(k) match Flexible spending accounts Flexible work schedules Employee assistance program Employee Scholar Program Parental leave Paid time off Holidays
