Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate metal fabricating machines
Read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications
Select and secure tooling and fixtures onto the machine
Adjust controls to regulate machining factors
Inspect or measure work and document deviations
Train new or existing employees if necessary
Report work-related injuries and unsafe conditions
Required Qualifications
One year certificate from college or technical school
Three to six months related experience and/or training
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
Ability to write simple correspondence
Ability to present information effectively
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of CNC software
Forklift license (to be obtained within three months)
