Job Title: RN – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)
Facility: Banner Health
Location: Multiple locations (AZ, CO, other states possible)
Start Date: As soon as possible after listed start date
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
Guaranteed Hours: 24 hrs/week
Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour night shifts)
Weekend Requirement: To be determined by facility
On-Call: To be determined by facility
Travel Experience: Preferred
Submission Requirements:
- AZ Drivers License Restriction:
- Candidates with an AZ home address on their driver's license will not be considered.
- Include a copy of driver's license in submission.
- Experience:
- Minimum 24 months of current PCU experience (Required)
- Certifications:
- Must be AHA or Red Cross certified
- Required: BLS & ACLS
- Certs must be active upon submission and included
- Licensure:
- Must have an active Arizona state license (no hits)
- License verification must be less than 30 days old
- Banner Requirements:
- Specific cover page must be included and completely filled out
- RTO (Time Off):
- Must be < 7 days total
- None allowed in first week or on holidays
- All RTO must be listed on the cover page
- Flu vaccination required (declination available upon request; form needed)
- Vaccination status must be added to submission notes
- Strict background requirements – check compliance early
- Submission Packet Must Include:
- Completed Banner Cover Page
- Resume (with all facilities, sizes, beds, trauma level, and units clearly listed)
- Skills checklist (must be specific to discipline and less than 1 year old )
- Active license verification (less than 30 days old)
- BLS & ACLS certifications (active)
- Driver’s license (non-AZ address)
- Flu vaccine status (or declination form)
