Key Responsibilities
Periodically checks patients and takes vital signs
Provides personal care for patients including hygiene and physical comfort measures
Performs bedside glucose monitoring, EKG tracing, and phlebotomy
Inserts IVs
Measures and records intake and output
Inserts and removes Foley catheters
Required Qualifications
Valid CNA license in the District of Columbia
High school graduate or GED
Current certification as CNA in the District of Columbia
American Heart Association BLS/CPR certification
