Job Description

Join our team as an Emergency Department Crisis Clinician, where you will provide critical psychiatric assessments and interventions, ensuring comprehensive care for patients in crisis. Be part of a dedicated team making a difference in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct emergency psychiatric assessments
  • Advocate and plan for patient discharge
  • Facilitate treatment processes and crisis interventions
  • Coordinate care with Emergency Department staff
  • Document assessments and case management activities
  • Initiate treatment plans for longer-stay patients

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy
  • A minimum of two years' experience in a psychiatric setting
  • Current CT license required: LCSW, LMFT, or LPC
  • Computer proficient
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Four years' experience in a psychiatric setting
  • Experience in an emergency department/crisis role
