Join Mantey Heights as an Occupational Therapist, where you'll evaluate and treat residents to enhance their daily living skills and promote independence in a supportive nursing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate residents’ functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans
Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with physician orders and interdisciplinary care plans
Provide training and education to residents, caregivers, and staff on adaptive techniques and equipment
Document all services in compliance with facility, Medicare/Medicaid, and state requirements
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, care planning, and discharge planning processes
Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as required
Ensure patient safety and promote a positive rehabilitation experience
Adhere to ethical standards and Colorado state licensure rules
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Required Qualifications
Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
Current Colorado Occupational Therapy License in good standing
Valid CPR certification
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility or geriatric setting
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
