Shift Details
- Day Shift: 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30)
- Night Shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
- Rotating shifts: 7pm-7:30am / 7am-7:30pm, typically consisting of 2 weeks Day and 2 weeks Night as needed to meet operational requirements.
Position Description
The Cardiac Stepdown Float Pool RN will provide high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. You will have the opportunity to deliver care in a variety of settings within the hospital, ensuring that patients in transitional cardiac care receive the best possible support and treatment.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty before traveling.
- 18 months of recent experience in Cardiac Stepdown - travel experience acceptable.
- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) experience preferred but not required.
- Active Ohio nursing license or valid compact state license required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required.
- Must be able to work at least every other holiday.
Additional Requirements
- Completion of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate training during orientation with acceptable scores required.
- Background checks will be conducted; any unresolved cases will not be accepted.
- Travelers must adhere to a nicotine-free requirement unless exempt.
- Candidates must complete onsite fingerprinting and badge collection prior to start date.
