$71.00/hr - $72.00/hr

Job Summary

update 6/26: FTS will try for a relo candidate if they have everything. Will work with manager to get them to do a virtual interview as its a niche role and a hard worksite location

24/7 must be available for a call to help remotely at night, early morning etc. (Manager mentioned she has only needed mid-night support once every 3 months or less on average)

Location: Rhode Island only (Local candidates will be screened first)

Member of an agile engineering scrum team working in a fast-paced environment, closely collaborating with product, architecture, and other engineering teams. We will provide a mentor for you as you learn to navigate your new role. We offer dedicated time each month to investigate new technologies.

Production support - 90% of the job is supporting production

UI Angular creating dashboards 25%

More experience needed in Java and backend experience 75%

Spring boot Oracle

Open mindset to support both sides RDBMS relational

Oracle, SQL Server, DB2 & Sybase - Query the database experience (Do not need database development experience) informatica ETL tool, (or snap logic or some other ETL tool experience) 2 rounds of interviews is expected

Responsibilities

• You will have clear and effective communication and will share your ideas and opinions as we look to innovate and improve our platforms.
• You will bring a growth mentality to work every day as you continue to learn new technologies and skills which you share with your scrum teammates. You will ask for feedback and put goals in place to help improve your own skill set.
• You will use your data security skills to keep our customers information safe.

Qualifications

• You have sophisticated development skills in Java using Spring Boot Framework
• You bring experience with DevOps, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery using Azure
• You have experience developing software utilizing relational databases (Oracle and SQL Server)
• You bring experience with Source Control Systems such as GIT
• You bring an understanding of Micro-services Architecture and domain driven design patterns
• You have experience with Test automation for unit, functional and non-functional testing (Postman, SOATEST, SOASTA, Cucumber)

Skills

• You have ability to understand and adapt to changing business priorities and technology advancements
• You have ability to develop technical artifacts based on analysis of business and systems requirements
• You bring strong organizational skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills
• You have excellent collaboration skills to work with multiple teams in the organization
