Hospice Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Portland, OR and Surrounding Areas
Shift: Day Shift, 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)
Start Date: ASAP
|Position Overview:
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice RN to provide skilled end-of-life care to patients in their homes across Portland, OR and surrounding areas. The RN will manage a caseload of up to 6 patients per day, with a standard of 30 productivity points daily. Reliable transportation is required, as travel within a 50+ mile radius may be necessary, although patient visits are grouped to minimize drive time.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of skilled Hospice RN experience.
- Proficiency with Oasis documentation is required.
- BLS certification required.
- EPIC charting experience preferred.
- Must hold active RN licensure for both Oregon and Washington. Pending licenses accepted at submission.
- Reliable personal transportation required (mileage reimbursed at IRS standard).
- No weekend or on-call requirements.
- No block scheduling available.
- Locals accepted at same rate (within 50–75 mile radius).
- Facility may cancel up to one shift per pay period (bi-weekly).

Submission Requirements:
- Include any requested time off at submission (post-submission RTO not approved).
- Provide three available interview times, traveler’s phone number, and last four of SSN.
- Confirm whether the traveler has reliable transportation and Oasis experience.
- Return Providence staff must have a 6-month break in service to be eligible.
References:
- Minimum of 2 recent supervisory references (covering at least 1 year total within the last 3 years in a comparable setting).
