Key Responsibilities
Assist in preventive maintenance inspections and repairs under guidance
Perform required inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles
Diagnose and repair malfunctioning vehicle systems
Document work performed using complaint, cause, and correction format
Learn and develop efficiency in Sysco computer programs
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Current and valid driver's license (CDL Preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
Medium/Heavy Duty truck technical training 2-year school
Annual Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Brake Inspector Certification Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
ASE certifications – Automotive or Medium/Heavy Duty Trucks
609 HVAC Certification
Working knowledge of computer-based diagnostic software
