Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) with float to Medical-Surgical Telemetry (MST) and other like units
Schedule: 36 hours per weekend (Friday through Sunday)
Patient Ratios: 6:1 and 7:1 Position Summary:

Client is seeking a skilled and dedicated PCU Registered Nurse to work nights on weekends only. The nurse will primarily provide care in the Progressive Care Unit and will float to the Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit and other similar units as needed. This position requires a minimum of 3 years recent telemetry nursing experience, with level 1 trauma experience preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the PCU and MST units during weekend night shifts.
• Float to all like units as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
• Maintain patient ratios of 6:1 and 7:1 to ensure safe and effective care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition.
• Comply with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.

Required Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years recent Telemetry RN experience.
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications:

• Current New Jersey Registered Nurse (NJ-RN) License.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Certification.
