Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Ontario, Ohio (zip 44906) – Central Ohio healthcare jobs
• Unit: Labor & Delivery (L&D) Nursing
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: December 1, 2025
• End Date: March 2, 2026
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shifts, 3x12-hour (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880-$2020
• On-Site Position
• On-Call: Must be able to arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when called in
• Weekend Coverage: Every 3rd weekend required
• Floating: May float to Bucyrus and Galion campuses as needed

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Ohio or compact RN license (required at submission)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Willingness to obtain STABLE certification if not already held
• Recent travel nursing experience (within the past year)
• Epic charting experience preferred
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to float to Ontario, Bucyrus, and Galion campuses
• Smoke-free healthcare facility and campus
• Completion of up to 8 hours of pre-start modules via HealthStream (non-billable)

Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Monitor and assess patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum periods
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members for optimal patient outcomes
• Respond to on-call needs and arrive at the hospital within 1 hour when required
• Float to other campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) as assigned
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation using Epic (preferred)
• Complete orientation and required pre-start modules prior to assignment
• Adhere to hospital policies, including no holiday time off during assignment
