RN - Cardiac Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work in Cath Lab Pre/Post Recovery unit with 8 or 10 hour evening shifts (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM or 11:00 AM - 9:30 PM)
• Recovery unit operates Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 9:30 PM
• Common shifts include 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 6:00 AM - 6:00 PM, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, and 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM
• Call requirement of 4-7 days per month by sign up with 60-minute response time (30 minutes preferred)
• Call hours: weekday 9:30 PM - 5:00 AM, weekend day 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM, weekend night 5:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Handle average of 30 cases per day including left and right heart caths, complex PCI, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and peripheral vascular procedures
• Work with 23 total bays (16 beds and radial lounge with recovery chairs)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Washington license or Compact license required
• Hospital-issued surgical attire provided
• Use EPIC EMR system and PYXIS equipment
• No floating unless emergency response required
• Floor-specific orientation less than one week if competent
• Work alongside 16 RNs in various shifts with one lead charge nurse
