Job Description
As a Traveling Project Manager at SAIIA Construction, you'll oversee Civil and Construction projects, ensuring quality and profitability while managing travel to various worksites. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in Heavy Civil Construction or CCR, making a significant impact on project success.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all project requirements for Civil and Construction projects
Ensure projects are completed in a quality, profitable, safe and timely manner
Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards
Maintain liaison with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Monitor and control construction to ensure project is built on schedule and within budget
Manage financial aspects of contracts and coordinate project activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years previous experience in an equivalent position
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., Hard Dollar, Bid Build, Heavy Build)
Proficiency in scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera)
Understanding of civil engineering design and construction methods
