ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Mullica Hill, New Jersey.
**Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse (Nights)**
**Job Shift:** Nights from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
**Contract Length:** 89 weeks
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Labor and Delivery Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience within the last 6 months. The ideal candidate will possess postpartum couplet care experience and demonstrate excellence in nursing practices in a labor and delivery setting.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide compassionate and comprehensive care to expectant mothers and their newborns during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care and positive outcomes for patients.
- Assess and monitor the health status of mothers and infants, responding to any changes in condition promptly.
- Educate patients and families on childbirth processes, postpartum care, and newborn care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records as per hospital protocols.
**Qualifications:**
- **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse within the last 6 months.
- **Certifications Required:**
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
*(Certifications may not expire within 30 days of start date.)*
- **Licensure Required:** Active NJ or Compact RN License (pending licenses are not accepted).
**Schedule Requirements:**
- Weekend work is required every other week.
- Holiday shifts are required every other holiday.
- No more than 3 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted.
**First Day Instructions:**
- Failure to complete the full orientation will result in immediate termination. Candidates will not have the option of rescheduling any classes once scheduled.
- Candidates will receive an email with orientation information and instructions the Friday before the start date, which includes access to a Virtual Welcome meeting and online HealthStream Modules.
- The assigned modules must be completed by Monday to avoid removal from the orientation list.
