Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluates patients based on departmental standards
  • Conducts and modifies evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status
  • Administers therapeutic techniques to treat patients
  • Educates patients and families in home exercise programs
  • Documents in accordance with insurance guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
  • Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs
  • Access to reliable transportation for travel between multiple work sites
