Job Description
Join Monte Nido Portland as a Mental Health Clinician / Therapist and make a difference in the lives of adults struggling with eating disorders. You'll provide therapy, support recovery, and work within a compassionate clinical team dedicated to transformative care.
Key Responsibilities
Providing individual, group, and family therapy
Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
Interact with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
Therapeutic meal support, while modeling a healthy relationship with food
Provides safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client and their unique circumstance based on the clients' intersecting identities
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care
Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
