Job Description

As a New Business Developer at Sysco, you'll drive market growth by developing strategic business plans and leveraging analytics for lead generation. Collaborating with a cross-functional team, you'll foster relationships with prospects and secure new business through effective negotiation and proposal processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the agreed upon new business plan in alignment with region’s financial goals
  • Develop comprehensive business development strategy with regional sales leaders
  • Leverage advanced analytics insights for prioritizing opportunities
  • Build effective sales plans for multi-segment opportunities
  • Coordinate proposal processes for local contracts
  • Review sales objectives and prepare action plans for improvements
  • Develop strong relationships with brokers, distributors, and industry peers
  • Stay current with foodservice trends and Sysco’s offerings

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 3+ years’ relevant sales experience in a business-to-business professional sales environment
  • 2+ years’ proven track record of new business development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent educational level
