The Director of Indirect Procurement at Brightstar Lottery will have the opportunity to craft and coordinate our global procurement strategies and operations for indirect goods and services. This role is pivotal in aligning with the Global Supply Chain strategy and achieving annual financial goals. The Director will lead all aspects of supplier relationships, contract negotiations, procurement systems (notably Ariba), and balanced sourcing practices. This position is crucial in optimizing procurement processes, ensuring compliance, and driving cost efficiencies across our organization. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute global sourcing strategies that optimize value, mitigate risk, and support long-term business objectives. Cultivate and manage high-performing supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and innovation. Contract Negotiation: Lead complex negotiations to secure favorable commercial terms, service levels, and risk mitigation provisions. Financial Stewardship: Manage procurement budgets and deliver measurable cost savings through strategic sourcing and process optimization. Market Intelligence: Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks; monitor key procurement KPIs and compliance metrics. Performance Optimization: Oversee supplier performance evaluations, scorecards, and continuous improvement initiatives. Technology Enablement: Lead the implementation and enhancement of the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) platform, with a strong emphasis on Ariba. Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, and other stakeholders to align procurement strategies with enterprise priorities. Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to procurement policies, regulatory requirements, and internal controls (e.g., Innovation & Transformation: Champion digital procurement tools, data analytics, and emerging technologies to drive procurement excellence. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business, or Finance Master’s degree (MBA or Engineering) Minimum Experience: 10 years in procurement Preferred Experience: 15 years across various procurement roles Deep understanding of procurement’s integration with operations, finance, and logistics. Strong knowledge of industry trends, supplier markets, and regulatory environments. Subject matter expert in supplier and contract management, SOX compliance, and Ariba P2P systems.
