Key Responsibilities
Administers the nursing program in a long term care facility
Facilitates optimization of the geriatric care process
Responsible for the overall quality of care provided by nursing personnel
Advises medical staff and administrators in nursing service matters
Monitors nursing staff operations and ensures compliance with regulations
Schedules staff and conducts employee performance reviews
Provides nursing care to residents as needed
Leads development and execution of clinical programs and policies
Required Qualifications
Five years nursing experience required
Currently holds an unencumbered RN license
Thorough knowledge of the nursing practice act and standards of nursing care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program preferred
Housing with Services, HUD, and/or assisted living experience helpful
