Job Description
Join Kaiser Permanente as a Psychologist on the Developmental Pediatrics Team, where you'll play a critical role in evaluating and treating patients with mental health concerns linked to their medical conditions. Your expertise will help improve patient outcomes through integrated care and collaboration with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate and diagnose Health Plan members with mental disorders
Develop and implement treatment plans including crisis intervention and brief psychotherapy
Prepare intake evaluations and maintain progress records
Educate and support members and families
Co-manage medical conditions using behavioral interventions
Administer psychological and neuropsychological tests
Consult with physicians regarding psychotropic medications
Provide training to APC team members
Conduct program evaluation and outcome assessment
Required Qualifications
PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology
Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
National Provider Identifier required at hire
Previous clinical responsibilities in diagnosis, crisis intervention, brief individual and group psychotherapy
