Overview

Our client, a 58-bed not-for-profit acute care hospital in Huron County, Michigan, is seeking a dedicated Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse for a travel assignment. Founded in 1906, the hospital delivers a full spectrum of acute, specialty, primary, and preventive care services.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Address biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, and discharge planning needs
  • Provide age-appropriate care across adult and geriatric populations
  • Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, maintaining high standards of clinical practice

Qualifications

  • Active Michigan RN license (must be verified via LARA and Nursys at submission)
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical experience required
  • ICU experience preferred
  • Skills checklist for RN specialties completed within one year of application
  • First-time travelers accepted if meeting experience requirements
