Key Responsibilities

  • Drive conversion of new revenue from new customers in public sector and commercial market.
  • Build territory penetration strategy and analyze individual performance.
  • Qualify prospects based on customer size and potential.
  • Schedule appointments and meet with prospective customers.
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations to drive engagement.
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill.
  • Create and present custom pricing solutions to potential customers.
  • Ensure smooth transition to account management team after customer commitment.
  • Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly quotas and key metrics.
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM.
  • Seek ways to improve through coaching and feedback.
  • Positively impact team culture and work collaboratively.
  • Grow share of wallet by consolidating business from other vendors.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma/GED
  • 4+ years of field sales experience
  • Required travel within territory based on appointments, customer needs and conferences, approximately 50% travel.
  • Remote Role: Must be able to cover a territory of Philadelphia, PA.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months+ of relevant experience in the public sector market
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Proven business development experience
