Join Sherwin-Williams as a full-time Delivery Driver and play a crucial role in delivering products, including hazardous materials, to customers. Ensure customer satisfaction through timely, safe deliveries while maintaining a focus on safety and efficiency.
Ensure deliveries meet customer requirements efficiently Load customer orders on the truck Complete necessary forms Transport and deliver items safely and on time Maintain the store vehicle and report servicing needs Provide excellent customer service Adhere to assigned routes and time schedules Abide by transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record Prepare delivery reports and documents Operate various equipment like trucks and forklifts Perform additional store tasks as needed Must be at least 21 years of age Legally authorized to work in the country without needing sponsorship Valid, unrestricted Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazardous materials endorsement Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or willingness to obtain one Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally Willingness to work scheduled hours including evenings and weekends High School diploma or GED One year experience as a delivery driver One year experience using material handling equipment Previous experience selling paint and paint-related products Ability to communicate in more than one language, preferably Spanish Health insurance 401k Paid time off (PTO) Opportunities for career development
