Join Air Evac Lifeteam as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, ensuring the maintenance and safety of our fleet. This vital role supports high-quality patient transport services, contributing to the overall care provided by our team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs
Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment
Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required
Sustain a safe and clean working environment
Facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members
Work collaboratively with health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
Two (2) years turbine powered helicopter experience
Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Valid State issued Driver’s License
Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge
EMS systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning
Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations
Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program
Capable of lifting 50lbs
Preferred Qualifications
FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate
Related experience under CFR Part 135
Autopilot maintenance experience
Avionics and electrical repair experience
AS350, Bell 206, Bell 407, EC130, EC135 maintenance experience
