Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
  • Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history.
  • Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images.
  • Review images, document exceptions, and communicate data to radiologist.
  • Recognize and respond to medical emergencies.
  • Provide physician-prescribed post care instructions to patients.
  • Participate in process improvement activities within radiology.
  • Provide imaging education to residents and new employees.

Required Qualifications

  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required by end of orientation.
  • One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).
