Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – NH or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting

L&D Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit
• Monitor and assess mothers and newborns throughout labor and delivery
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
