RN - Cath Lab
Job Details:
• Work as a licensed RN using professional practice model to coordinate patient care delivery
• Focus on specific patient populations and health conditions within cardiac catheterization laboratory
• Use nursing process to assess patients, identify nursing diagnoses, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses
• Assist patients through healthcare encounters preventing complications or delays
• Delegate interventions to healthcare personnel based on Texas Nursing Practice Act and patient conditions
• Weekend schedule to be determined by facility
• Possible call responsibilities
• Must have 2 years of RN Cath Lab experience required
• Experience in critical care setting (ICU, ED) or previous Cath/EP Lab setting preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Required certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA)
• Texas nursing license required and must be active at time of submission
• Skills checklist must be completed within one year of application
• Two supervisory references from within the last year required
• Must disclose any previous employment history with this healthcare organization
