Key Responsibilities
Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems
Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes and initiate or assign necessary repairs
Maintain and repair exhaust systems equipped with DPF systems
Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards
Assist with emergency breakdowns as needed
Required Qualifications
3+ years’ experience working as a heavy-duty Diesel Mechanic
Experience working on heavy-duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school
A valid driver’s license is required
Must be able to speak and read English well enough to converse with colleagues
Preferred Qualifications
Hydraulics experience
Experience with diagnostic software such as Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, Peterbilt, and Paccar
CDL preferred
Working knowledge of applicable DOT and OSHA standards and regulations
