Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the review of medical records for quality opportunities
  • Data collection, entry, and quality monitoring
  • Locate medical screening results for quality measures
  • Track appointments and document information accurately
  • Optimize customer satisfaction and close care gaps
  • Partner with leadership and staff to support practice strategies
  • Interact with UHC members to assist in care coordination
  • Document scheduling challenges impacting quality outcomes
  • Provide support and education to team members
  • Manage time effectively to meet productivity goals
  • Work independently in a virtual setting
  • Identify workflow opportunities for efficiency
  • Adhere to industry regulations and maintain HIPAA compliance
  • Conduct data analysis to identify quality opportunities
  • Coordinate appointments and outreach for medication refills
  • Participate in department campaigns for quality improvements
  • Support targeted providers in field-based activities

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • 1+ years of healthcare industry experience
  • Knowledge of potential up to 75% travel requirements
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA compliance
  • Reside within an hour from Boston, MA
  • Dedicated work area for privacy
  • Ability to keep sensitive documents secure
  • Access to high-speed internet
  • Ability to work full-time, Monday - Friday

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience in a physician, provider, and/or medical office
  • EMR and HEDIS knowledge and experience
  • Experience with medical terminology
  • Experience as a Pharmacy Technician
  • Experience as a Medical Assistant
  • Work experience as a LPN
  • 2+ years of telephonic customer service experience
  • 1+ year of working experience with ICD-9/10 and CPT Codes
