Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Scans insurance cards and ensures paperwork is correctly filled out
Collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles
Documents patient interactions and maintains patient charts
Schedules follow-up and radiology appointments
Handles referrals and authorization requests
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
CPR certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
1+ years of medical front office experience
Beginner level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Ability to travel 25% of the time to cover other offices as needed
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience with knowledge of Nevada medical insurances
Experience working with an electronic health record
Cash handling experience
Knowledge of medical terminology
Bilingual in Spanish/English
