Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Scans insurance cards and ensures paperwork is correctly filled out
  • Collects co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles
  • Documents patient interactions and maintains patient charts
  • Schedules follow-up and radiology appointments
  • Handles referrals and authorization requests

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • CPR certified or able to obtain certification within 30 days of hire
  • 1+ years of medical front office experience
  • Beginner level of proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time to cover other offices as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience with knowledge of Nevada medical insurances
  • Experience working with an electronic health record
  • Cash handling experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
