Key Responsibilities
Obtain accurate and updated patient information
Answer telephone calls promptly and courteously
Perform insurance verification at time of scheduling
Confirm and schedule appointments
Perform follow-up services for patients
Maintain medical records

Keep abreast of current medical requirements
Provide effective communication to patients and team members
Comply with administrative policies
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
6+ months of customer service or healthcare related experience
Intermediate level of computer proficiency including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook and multiple web applications
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in medical front office position performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in/out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays and maintaining medical records
Knowledge of EMR software
Bilingual in Spanish and English
