Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and provide treatments to patients to improve or restore function
  • Participate in an interdisciplinary approach for community education
  • Administer physical agents and therapeutic techniques to achieve established goals
  • Educate patients and families in home exercise programs to maximize functional activity
  • Document in accordance with insurance guidelines

Required Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
  • Holds current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs such as Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Access to reliable transportation to travel between multiple work sites
